I’ve yet to see anything conclusive. So far the only combination of ingredients proved conclusively to increase fat burning to any significant degree is a combination of ephedrine, caffeine and asprin.
However, the FDA has had to investigate more than 800 ephedrine complaints since 1994 with some as serious as heart attacks, strokes and death. Not surprisingly, ephedrine has now been removed from legal sale.
The current crop of fat burners doing the rounds have tried creating similar concoctions by replacing ephedrine with Sida Cordifolia.
This contains the alkaloid ephedrine, explaining why it’s been jumped on by manufacturers. The trouble is it's nowhere near as potent, so the effects are insignificant.
Until there’s any proof that the current crop of so-called fat burners can actually increase fat burning to any significant degree, we advise you to save your cash.
