More about me
I'm a journalist and broadcaster with ten years experience.
Before launching mansized,co.uk, I ran Men's Health magazine's website for five years.
I've also worked in newspapers, editing Northcliffe's thisisnottingham.co.uk site for three years.
My degree in architecture - I'm an Enric Miralles fan if you're asking - led me to journalism.
After graduating from the University of Nottingham, I edited archetype, a print magazine for architecture and design students across the UK.
From there I progressed to the Royal Institute of British Architects Journal. I launched my first online publication eight years ago - a weekly updated arts and architecture events guide called antenna.
What Mansized is about
We want to offer men (and women!) a thoughtful, funny and inspiring read.
Yes, men like babes, cars and sport, but we want to appeal to guys who think with their brains too.
Our news covers everything guys want to read about - from George Dubya Bush to Jordan - and everything's edited for a quick read.
None of us have time to take in everything thrust at us these days, so we'd like to think our "just the facts ma'am" approach helps men get through the day.
I believe our experts are among the finest in the country. Our advice is frank and honest and no one is trying to plug anything.
I truly believe in listening to readers. Our site feedback board delivers more insight than a focus group ever could. We listen and learn every single day.
Career highlights
Launching Mansized - it's something I've wanted to do for a long time.
Getting shortlisted for several industry awards. Readers are most important, but the odd gong is always welcome!
My first story in the Guardian - a double page spread on the Millennium Wheel before the first pieces floated up the Thames.
Chairing, sorry, more like trying to keep a lid on Johnny Vegas when he chatted live with our readers at thisisnottingham.co.uk
