But most influential? Nah, I wouldn't say so. A game in such a restricted genre such as 'football' cant really do that much different from all that's come before it to make it truly influential. For major influential games, you need to look at the likes of Doom that instigated the true birth of the FPS genre, and Final Fantasy VII that helped make all the best future RPG stories that much more emotionally involving.
