I have been thinking (yes that's right!)

On some sites that I have been on I see they have a 'donate' button, and next to that is a lost of users who have donated cash & how much, usually with PayPal.

I have to say I have donated to websites in the past.

I was wondering if you have thought of doing something similar?

I like to think of this as 'our' site so I for one would donate.

What are your thoughts on this?

I think if there was a donate button the individual amounts donated should be anonymous. On b3ta if you donate you get a choice of little icons next to your name, they change them all the time so you have to donate again to get a new one :)

Maybe an option not to disclose it, it might put people off donating otherwise, and a few quid is better than nothing.

I am being a bit of a tight bastard until I get a job, no point spending money if you aren't earning it.

No it's not, it will show who all the tight arses are. All the tight arses want donations anonymous from what I see.
