Hi Mate

I agree with Richy, you're not 24% bodyfat. I'd estimate around 17% looking at your pictures. What's your waist and neck measurement?

With the calipers, push until they click, then take the reading. If you can click less than 20 mm, you're ready for the six pack plan.

Nice work, keep it up!

Hey Anthony,

Thanks for the response - I used the calipers 2 inches to the right of ny navel and it came to 16mm so I should transfer to the six pack plan?

Silly question but by waist, where exactly are we talking? 34.5 inches is the circumference exactly at the navel. I made the neck I made a touch over 14 inches.

Maybe I will measure bodyfat using a method at a few places on my body, that I can easily measure myself. WIll you get a different bodyfat measurement over the day, like weight, or always the same?

If I am ready for the six pack plan then I will start a new log maybe, and keep it updated more frequently than I have done this one.

Thanks,
Art

Hi Mate

The navel is spot on. If you want to be extra precise, you can take a measurement two inches above and below aswell, then average the three. You might find if you have a distribution of bodyfat more on the lower abs, or upper abs, for example, this will be more accurate. If you have a fairly even distribution, then it wont make much differentce.

Using those measurements brings you out at 19%, which is alot closer based on your pics.

Keep it up!

Hi Art!

Dont beat yourself up Dude- we all do it, me included , and yup its tiredness that is my scoff trigger too.

I keep a stock of stuff in my desk drawer to beat the vending machine, long life milk, tinned beans, tuna, crispbreads, rice cakes - it can prove helpful.

Go for it Art - you are making great progress :-)
