you're selling it to me Chris...
just wondering why the other reviews seemed to hate it so much ... reckon they're just being a bit uppity ?

Glad to hear it, now get it bought!
As for some of the other reviews, I think it's just a case that they're far too eager to simply say "oh it's just a cash-in" and not simply see it as a re-imagining of one of the very best video games of all time.
Did you play the GC or PS2 version? If not, you need to buy this right now! Only £30 in the shops too. Bargain of the year!

What was the difference between the GC and the PS2 Version?
The only reason i get the Gamecube was to play RE games. YOu cant beat playing RE4 for the 1st time. Loved it. waiting for the next installment before i buy a new console.
Any one played Viewtiful Joe on the GC?

I have never played Resident Evil game but this one does look good and might just get it! Great article too.
Might even be better if multi-player/split-screen is supported tho - imagine the fun!

The PS2 version had slightly poorer visuals, but a few extra modes and missions.
The Wii version combines the GC visuals, the PS2 extra content, and obviously the new control method to be easily the definitive version.
As for Viewtiful Joe, what a game!
