Can John Daly conquer Carnoustie? Not on the evidence we've seen so far...

I love how he plays smoking a fag! So cool.

Is the Open on Sky or 'normal' T.V.?

The open is one of the very few sporting events that has to be available to all non fee-paying viewers.

John Daly won the US open after being 9th reserve. They always spout rubbish like this.

Its carnoustie. Its 7000 yards long. Of course he has a chance. He loves links golf.

Clever money is on Mr Woods, but I fancy Luke Donald.

I've been playing loads of golf recently, I love it. I'm so bad though. I don't get how you are supposed to swing i.e. the angle of the club face throughout the swing - I do generate lots of power though :-)

I will be watching this with a few beers at the weekend!

Pop over the other side of the pennines mate and I'll take you for a round.

Focus on the club face being square or slightly closed at impact, everything else can be learned later. Get a few books.

I've recently changed my swing from a two piece to a one piece. My driving is now awesome, but my iron play is struggling. It was the opposite with a two piece.

Your on mate, let me get some practice in first though and I'd love to have a game!

anyway, don't laugh, but I think Montgomerie could just nip in there. It's definitely going to be someone of the same shite standard as Paul Lawrie

Mickleson - should have won on Sunday and ended up as runner up. Would like to see Monty win it though.

I've been reading his book, his dad was an airline pilot and he had his own golfing pitch and put in his back garden! His love of golf is incredible, he hits 500 golf balls every single day!
