Hi guys i got bk from Turkey yesterday and tomorrow is the dreaded weigh in and i am extremely nervous i have undone the last 4 weeks good wk getting to my all time low in weight of over 8yrs.
I didnt do exercise in the pool coz it was too busy and daytime temps were between 42-47 and the gym wasnt air conditioned so no chance of a wkout in that heat!!!
Generally bcause of lying in bed til midday everyday i never had breakfast it was lunch which wasnt too bad and then nothing until teatime at night which i tried to be ashealthy as possibly having pasta or chicken but i did have a pizza once. And on the alcohol front it wasnt too bad i prob had 2pints a day and considering it was a holiday i think is very good, and during the day because of the intense heat i was drinking water non stop.
In a good way tho i think because now i am mentlaly in the diet/wkout frame of mind the week i was away i really missed my diet and not wking out. so if anything my prediction wouldbe that the weight hasnt fluctuated that much instead i have prob replaced a couple of pounds of muscle with fat as my love handles feel a little less solid than when i went or that could be psychological we will see when i measure them tomorrow.
Im just hoping the damage is minimal so that after a couple of weeks i will be back to where i was on my last results and can go from there.
Keep your fingers crossed guys i really have no idea what the scales are going to say tomorrow!
Hi guys i am gutted by my results as you will see below in addition to my post last night.
Weight 155.8lb
Bofy Fat 28.2lb
Body Fat 18.1%
Water 59.7%
BMI 23.1
Stomach 91.5cm
As you can see i have put on 3lb and added 1cm back onto my stomach i am so dissapointed.
I am back on the wagon today though and have got straight back onto the diet and will have a wkout tues/thur/sat so hopefully i can repair the damage quite quickly.
One thing i would like to ask though is as i have put on the weight and the cm in a week if i get back on the wagon and stick rigidly to the diet and exercise could i see myself drop a couple of pound next weigh in as it was only a temporary thing or is it going to take me 3-4 weeks to get back to the stats i had before i went on holiday as before i was losing roughly 0.7-1lb in weight per week and about 1cm off my stomach every 3wks. Im hoping because of the blip on holiday even though i tried to be good i can get rid of it as quickly but knowing me things wont happen that way.
Thanks for your advice Ant my current diet following your advice is this -
Breakfast - Oatibix and a glass of milk
Snack - Half a bagel with low fat cheese
Lunch - 2 rolls with tuna mayo mix(hellmans extra light) tomatoe, cucumber and spinach followed by a banana
Snack - The other half a bagel with low fat cheese
Tea - Either baked potatoe with beans, Spicy cous cous with mince red onion and tomtatoes, or stir fry chicken with mixed veg, or mixed pulses noodles(sharwoods straight to wok) and a stir in sauce
In the hot waether as well i have been treating myself to the odd small bowl of ice cream but you guys will prob tell me i shouldnt be having it!!
Weightloss is not linear and in the end your hardwork and perseverance will get ya there as long as you learn from your mistakes and what does and doesnt work for you
A loss of 2lb for this week! I am quite surprised though as last week being the 1st week back off holiday and getting back in the swing of things i stuck to the diet rigidly and didnt vary from it once, and since coming back off holiday i have decided to quit smoking. So because of this last week i didnt have a wkout at all instead i gave my body a chance to a) get used to the diet agains and b) to get used to me now smoking anymore.
The only reason i can think for me losing 2lb despite not wking out is on holiday i was only eating twice a day and having 1300 calories and a couple of pints of lager so by having less calories than normal and what i was having was fairly high in fat by going straight bk to my diet and cutting it all out when i came back enabled me to lose the weight on put on while on holiday and go bk down to my real proper weight.
So now my body has been eased back onto the diet and quitting smoking this week comes the addition of working out again. I am going to work out mon/wed/fri/sat and see how this goes over the next couple of weeks and if not much does i will drop down to 3wkouts and lose the sat wkout. Fingers crossed!
Also i have now resized some photos to put on here that i would like people opinions on. Personally i think that of the bodyfat that i need to lose about 75% is on my stomach. There are places like under arms, pecs and butt to lose it but the vast majority is on my abs.
Firstly se if you guys agree with that and if so if it is the case should my abs measurement ome down sooner being as i have less to lose from everywhere else??
Also can anybody say i know without accurate measurements an exact figure but how much weight would u say i had to lose?? my target is to lose 14lb in weight made up of 16lb loss of bodtfat and 2lb gain in muscke making me 10st i think losing 16lb of bodtfat would see me very slim and losing all of that fat off my pecs and midsection?
As u can se in picture 1 here my legs are pretty good and i dont think i have any fat to lose off them really maybe a very tiny bit
As you can see from this photo my arms have got a good shape to them but its underneath in the tricep area where i need to get rid of the bingo wings to make a superb shape!
Here is part 1 of the trouble area where the other 75% of the fat around my midsection it is in the dread love handles the gut isnt too bad nut you can see my love handles are terrible!
And the other part of the 75% of the fat on the mid section is around the bk part as you can see my shoulders and bk are ok but the bottom half that is the back of the midsection is terrible as well!
