I have only just seen this thread and I am sorry to hear of your loss.

A few years ago, my then girlfriend's sister had miscarraige and she received a lot of support but her husband hardly received any (refused to talk about it too) so it was good to "hear" from a man's view.

Thank you for posting, guys -- it was all well touching and very humble (is humble the right word?).

Thanks dillion. Of course having a new son has made it a lot easier.

I had a lot of support from the friends I told and family. The hospital though, well, they looked through me.

I've been to some of Adam's check ups and happy to say that the midwives have always asked how I'm doing too :-)

Being called 'dad' still feels weird, but guess I'll get used to it.

Forget 'Dad'; it no time, you will be referred to as the 'old man'.
