Another Wednesday, another update. I'll get to the point:

Weight 164.4lbs
Waist 29¾

Bulk is going well, still have to hold back eating too much because I could easily eat a lot more. My diet is listed below, which is what I'll continue with for the foreseeable future. My plan is, from my current weight, to hit a monthly increase of 2-3 pounds over the next 5–6 months. I'll adjust my calories as needed, i.e. I'll increase or decrease my carbs depending on my monthly gains.

Pre-workout 4 Weetabix and protein shake
Post-workout 5g Creatine and 20g Dextrose
Meal 1 7 large egg whites, 1 large whole egg and 160g oatmeal
Meal 2 Trioplex bar
Meal 3 Chicken or Turkey with 75g brown rice and veggies
Meal 4 Chicken or Turkey with wholemeal pitta bread and veggies
Meal 5 Apple and 20 almonds
Meal 6 Fish with salad and flaxseed oil
Meal 7 Protein shake and spoon full of natural peanut butter

On non-workout days I obviously won't have my pre-workout meal but I will take creatine with a couple of pieces of fruit.

That's it until my update next week.

I decided to take BFG's advice and include more of the white stuff (baby food) into my diet. Over the past couple of weeks I've been taking SMA, Rusks and a pot of Petits Filous post-workout, sooo good! Only problem being is that it's true what they say, you are what you eat! Now I'm eating like a baby I've turned into one, so I've got lots of puppy fat to get rid of to see my abs again, should cheer Kid though. :-)

How much does all this nosh cost you?

My housey has entered his manic bulking phase - he doesn't get the concept of rest, it is a case of all or nothing, and he did really, really well with his cut; his whole body shape changed - and is currently aiming for 4500 cals a day, and has got all sorts of potions and bars to munch his way through. Must be costing him a fortune!!

You're eating BFG's White stuff? Ahem....

*sorry but your abs thread is too on topic compared to everyone else's ;P *

Do you tend to eat at set times EVERY day, or just when you find time and actually feel hungry? It just looks like such a mechanical eating regime

thats the key to success. I eat at the same time every day (plus or minus 15 minutes) except on weekends when i usually forget to eat my snacks.

I work about 11–12 hours a day during the week at the moment so keeping to those times is very easy. Meals 2–5 are eaten at work and when I leave work to go home, which is only 5 minutes down the road, I'm ready to cook meal 6. I also work for about 6 hours on a Saturday and some Sundays. Only problem is meal 2, where I'm usually up and about or in a meeting at that time, so a protein bar is very handy. People tend to eat cereal bars and such in meetings so it's no problem pulling out a protein bar.

The only time it really differs is at the evening on weekends, when I usually go out. But then I usually stuff a protein bar or almonds in my pocket and I'm good to go. I'll lucky as my friends all like to go for a meal before we go out and everywhere we go there's good food on offer, so that's not a problem. Plus I rarely drink so I don't consume extra calories that way either.

Omg! Your diet is cleaner than mine! and you barely drink either. Do you not have any sauce with the pasta, or butter with the pitta bread?

I'm sure your bulk will go very well if you continue to be so strict!

Good luck

I don't like pasta and the only butter I have is natural peanut butter, but I like eating that on its own. To be honest I've eaten cleanly for so long now I've lost the urge to eat junk food. I had a Sunday roast a few weeks back and couldn't eat it, I could taste the salt on the veg, I never add salt on any of my foods, and I could feel the fat coming through the pours of my skin after eating a roast potato, which made be feel sick. So I had scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast, I'm not too keen on bread either but that's all that was on offer.

I put tabasco sauce and a little black pepper on my eggs in the morning, that's about it. I just like the natural taste of my foods.

The only junk food I can eat are curries, vindaloo's and phals. Which I usually have once or twice a month. Nothing like a good hot curry to clear the system.

The last time I had a drink was Glastonbury, and that was only one pint of Borrow Hill cider. Looking back, the last time, and only time this year, I got drunk was a boys night out for my mate who's gone to Australia for a year. I've already put on a little fat, but I put that down to increasing my calories too quickly after my cut.

i wish i had discipline like yours. I'm fairly strict with my diet. but not quite as strict as you and booze is definitely a stumbling block for me. i like sinking a few pints every now and again.
