Well I done my homebaking last nite, and tbh they have turned out no too bad, threw a few other things lying around the kitchen in.

Here's one I tried over the weekend that turned out quite well. I used a Tesco Healthy Living recipe & tweaked it slightly:
150g Oats
100g Chopped Nuts
75g Raisins
6 Tablespoons Honey
3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
50g Flavourless Whey Protein Powder
1. Melt the honey & oil together in a pan
2. Add the other ingredients & mix
3. Flatten into a 9" by 7" greased baking tray
4. Bake for 20 minutes at 180
5. Divide into 10 bars whilst hot, leave to cool
Easy & taste good.
Nutrition wise works out at, per bar:
240 Cals 7.85g Protein 24.4g Carbs 12.5g Fat
I think next time I make them I'll use less nuts & more whey to reduce the fat & increase the protein content a little, hopefully without losing too much taste.

Wouldn't the baking process cause the protein in the whey powder to become denatured thus considerably reducing the protein content?

No. Do you know/understand what denaturing is? all that happens is the protein changes shape, perhaps even splits down into amino acids. Your body would do this anyway when it goes to digest it.
Unless you were to burn it of course.
Denaturing
