At which point they sink you...

well drink isn't one of my problems :) But I think I would find it near impossible to follow such an eating regime, am too undisciplined! But we'll see what happens in 6 weeks. Biggest problem is mate dragging me into fast food joints :-/

You're eating BFG's White stuff? Ahem....

*sorry but your abs thread is too on topic compared to everyone else's ;P *

Do you tend to eat at set times EVERY day, or just when you find time and actually feel hungry? It just looks like such a mechanical eating regime

oi leave it out sunshine! grrrrrr

To be honest I've eaten cleanly for so long now I've lost the urge to eat junk food. I had a Sunday roast a few weeks back and couldn't eat it, I could taste the salt on the veg, I never add salt on any of my foods, and I could feel the fat coming through the pours of my skin after eating a roast potato, which made be feel sick. So I had scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast, I'm not too keen on bread either but that's all that was on offer.

Aint that a weird one I totaly agree with you as the taste of fat on things like that makes me heave! I used to love Yorkshire puds tried a bit a while back just couldnt eat it, all I could taste was fat and it felt like my whole mouth had been coated in grease!

A day late with my update, but who cares. I've changed my diet a little over the past few days.

I was craving food Monday morning during my pre-workout meal so instead of having 4 weetabix and a protein shake, I decided to have 12 weetabix and no protein shake. To be honest after eating 12 I could've done more! There was a point before my workout where I thought my stomach wouldn't hold it all down, but it seems as though my stomach has become a bottomless pit and my energy levels were awesome. My stomach never used to be that way, I used to struggle to eat one bowl of porridge. I still had my scrambled eggs (7 large egg whites and 1 large whole egg) and two bowls of oatmeal (160g or 1 cup of dried steel-cut oats) when I got back from the gym. Although my belly was feeling rather full :-D

I'm also trying to reduce my meal numbers and eating bigger meals about every 3 hours, not every 2–2½ hours. Eating every 2–2½ hours when I was cutting worked great, but my body is craving more food now. It's not hunger, it's just craving food, I can't really explain it.

I currently weight 165.4lbs in the morning, about 168lbs during the day and my waist is currently about 30 inches.

12 Weetabix is nothing really ;-)

I still have my abs, much more visible before I stuff my face with food in the morning :-D
I'm gaining some fat back, which is inevitable seeing that I'm bulking and I increased my calories much faster than I should of.

Going through my cupboards at the weekend I found a tub of Progain from my last bulk. Which I'm using instead of a protein bar at work when I can. God I forgot just how good chocolate Progain was!

Hi Mat :-)

Wow 30 inch waist - we are SO going to love to hate you!

Enjoy your food you eat clean - you are training hard enough and have the muscle percentage to need it.

Just a thought on the Weetabix - top grub but don't have 12 every day for a weeks on end - simply because of their iron content.

12 contain about 14.4 mg of iron, recommended daily amount for Blokes is about 10mg.

Having 12 isn't dangerous in any way- just going too high might cause temporary gut problems.

Enjoy your bulk- you are going to be a stunner!

Thanks PJ!

I used to have a 29 inch waist before I started bulking.

I only have 12 Weetabix pre-workout and workout four times a week, Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri.

This is my typical diet on a training day if you'd like to cast an eye over it:

Pre-workout 12 Weetabix
Meal 1 7 large egg whites, 1 large whole egg and 160g oatmeal
Meal 2 Progain or Trioplex bar
Meal 3 Chicken or Turkey with veggies and either 100g brown rice or 2 wholemeal pitta breads
Meal 4 Chicken or Turkey with salad and 20 almonds
Meal 6 Fish and spoonful of natural peanut butter (or 2, I really love peanut butter!)
Meal 7 Protein shake

For the Chicken or Turkey I usually cook a pack the night before and half the portions between meals 3 & 4.

On non-training days I don't have my pre-workout meal but the rest is the same.

I find too much weetabix does funny things to my poo, but maybe i'm just mildly intolerant to them. I used to eat about 10 a day
