Never understood the fuss. Surely for anyone who's ever played a FPS on a PC the halo franchise is just inferior (worse graphics, AI, online). I actually laughed the first time i played halo at just how bad it was.
Wouldnt mind giving it a go after all the hype but consoles and fps's - i just cant get excited about them.

But do you have to have played Halo 1 and 2 to make sense of this game? I am considering buying it but i'm not sure I will get what's going on as I haven't played other Halo's.
Does it matter? I like to understand the story of a game.

If you consider a manky old Gamestation the red carpet treatment, aye, I did! The woes of being Edinburgh based means I miss most of these snazzy events unless I've been invited along. And Microsoft don't seem to like me :(
