Hi Mate

Pretty much as JT said. According to his profile, his arms are 15½ inches, and his calfs are 16 inches (He doesn't list his neck). So although his calfs are a little big, they're basically well proportioned.

Cool

Is that with the arms tensed or straight and relaxed though?

By your side. Measure round the biggest part of your arms neck and calfs and see how yours stack up!

Thanks for all the replies. Once I have finished this cycle. I'll have a go at the one that u suggested.

Just had a quick measure of my neck which is 16.25.
I always measure my arms tensed which at the moment are 15.5 and calves at the moment are 16

Is this good symmetry? Also quads at the moment are 24.5 should i be aiming for a bit bigger here?

Cheers,

Carl

Tradition is neck, arm and calves should be similar in size; although some ignore neck.

Generally, 1.5-1.7 thigh to calve difference, is normally accepted as the idea size. For example, 14" calves, 21-23" thighs.

This wesbite gives a muscle proportion table, which is good to look at to get a general idea.

My thighs are too big!! according to that website anyway.

Ideal is this:

Neck 16,1
bicep 15,1
forearm 12,6
chest 42,1
waist 31,6
hips 37,9
thighs 22,7
calves 15,1

My arms are only 14" when they're straight by my side :o(

Is this how everyone measure their arms? I always thought that you're meant to tense your muscles when you take your measurements!
