I think what he's doing sounds more like Carluccio's or Strada - but maybe a bit cheaper. It's a crowded market though, so it doesn't sound that exciting.
That said, we could do with one in Newquay. No decent Italian food here :-(

The thing that annoys me though is this is just another way for wealthy owners to monopolise the restaurant market. I'd rather see more independent restaurants.
