After playing them both, I must say I agree that Fifa 08 is better.

I still have bought PES but mostly because it's what most of my mates go for and I don't want to lag behind with my skills. We are having a PES night at my house next Sat so I have to get plenty of practice in!

But when I am on my own and the curtains are drawn, it is FIFA 08 that I will be sticking into the disk drive!

My Pro Evo should be here today. With FM08 being hammered at the minute i can't see me playing it too much.

Liked the review of this and liked the "best price" window, excellent idea.

As I'll not be buying either though it made no difference, but still good.

Have been playing this on xbox live and it's an absolute joke! The ball vanishes and it's so jerky it is unplayable!

Anyone else find this or is it just me?

Really annoyed as I only got this for the online and now I can't do that :-(

Supposedly the proper online servers will open up at midnight tonight, so you might want to try it again tomorrow.

Also, last year's was bad until a patch was done that massively improved the experience.

Cool, I'll wait for that then. I lost 7-0 in my first game, I;m crap but I'm not that crap. The lagging was responsible for a few goals as it gets really confusing!

I just checked up, and apparently the servers opened this morning.

Oh dear.

Someone fairly high up in the PES community reckons that a patch is on the way within a few weeks (not months). Hopefully things will clear up in a month or so, but really this stuff shouldn't have gone live like this. With my 360 in for repairs, I might have to hold off picking up my preorder.
