ok ... maybe I will go see it.
was worried the effect was going to be similar to the Polar Express (I didn't mind it so much then as it was definitely for kids and they don't care what the animation is like).

not taking the boys though

I stand by my star ratings. The only time I’ve possibly been overly generous was with Elizabeth: The Golden Age. That film was agony.

Beowulf is, strictly speaking, for teens - but it is superb fun. Like an old Sinbad movie with pixels instead of Plasticine.

You gotta go see it and it has to be in 3D.

What an awesome film totally groundbreaking I think CGI can often be poorly delivered but this is a lightspeed leep ahead of the rest. The opening scene is a little to comicky/cgi but once it gets past that into the real characters its a totally awesome captivating film.

Its been slated for some of the accents and Im still giggling over the way Ray Winston says the word monnnsters but it was great and added variety to the characters. Angelina Jolie was fantastic in it ,a total temptress only fault on her part was it was too close to her role in Alexander. But still she delivered the ultimate sultry captivating temptress that even a gay man couldnt help fall for!

But it has to be seen in 3d its mind blowing, and really draws you in even if you do look a right tit in the glasses! But thankfully so does everyone

Id give it a 4 out of 5

What a load of weird crap!!!

Saw it last night. 10 minutes in I said "what the hell are we watching?", 2 minutes later two people walked out, and by the end of the film Mr B was dozing....

I saw an ad for it when I was at the IMAX watching Transformers. I thought, all the amazing CGI stuff they can do, yet they still can't seem to make their lip movements work with the soundtrack. Or even look real!
