Old Biddys and free food

I went to Marks & Spencers at lunchtime to get some burgers. I could barely get off the escalator because of this varicose vein of old women in some sort of feeding frenzy.

I fought my way past them catching a glimpse of the prey in their midst. a young lad trying manfully to dispense in an orderly fashion some raspberry ruffles from a set of trays.

it was horrible ... he stood no chance ... I had to look way ....

and another thing, if you're that hard up, what the f**k are you doing in M&S Food Hall .... piss off to Aldi, where you belong !

Well this is a change in the fortunes of M&S isn't it, the M&S of old being THE place to be if you were a pensioner....cool young folk wouldn't be seen dead in there...oh how times have changed :oP

it's awful when the tasting table comes out - they crowd round like vultures, swooping in for a thimble of port, and half a choc truffle, as if they have never eaten before in their life:

'Ooo, aarr, lovely.'

And then walk off with no intention of buying anything!

Ah but you're well free of all that now, although having said that I wonder if WIlliamHill would give me odds on Ben being back at M&S by Easter ;O)
