The world has gone crazy. It's so crazy that I don't even know where to begin, or to end. That's why this blog will most likely descend into a mere incoherent rant, which will undoubtedly confuse most people, but if you're smart enough to decipher it all, you might find some meaning behind my madness and hopefully, take something from it.
I think that the world that we live in could be much better. There is so much potential waiting to be realised, yet we, (we stupid people) continue to ruin it. It doesn't make any sense whatsoever and the motive behind the destruction seems to be greed and behind that, ignorance. There are too many of these people that are blind to all reason and have no fucking clue about why they do things. They have no purpose. They just screw people out of things to make money. Money is worthless. Once people realise that, they will be free.
Politics is a load of shit. Look at your average politician - A rich kid who has grown up relatively cocooned. They are usually out of shape and have little to no understanding of true suffering. They get paid far too much for a career in which nothing is ever really achieved. They wear good suits badly and talk crap for a living. Are these the people who should be making our decisions? I don't think so.
Things are simple. It's just that we tend to create these complicated games to play, and for what reason? We like bullshit?
Why do so many people lie down to these things? The reason is because they are oblivious to the truth, and they don't want the hassle of going against the status quo. They'd rather 'live' their lives, meaning they want to go to school, get their grades, get a job and settle down, living under these guidelines set out by people who don't have the slightest clue about life themselves. The people who set out the guidelines are the people who have 'lived' their lives according to the guidelines that they were told to adhere to.
The message is simple. Be your own person. Don't let others rule you. Make your own guidelines, but be sensible, reasonable and most importantly, be good to others. How hard can it be?

check out Evo Morales, you're pretty much correct with everythign else though
I agree with you! We should have everything running quite smoothly across the globe by now ~ but no I think things are getting worse and more violent. I get so depressed sometimes about the state of the world , all the pain and needless suffering. All politicians seem to care about are bumping up their expenses bills!
Anyway, enough depressing talk.........................................for the moment anyway!
I usually try to write down my feelings on these matters, because people don't want to hear it. It only ever really turns into something when I get fired up, or when I'm bored, but you get the point.
I feel that, the human race should have, by now, developed the intelligence to realise that there is no need for suffering. There can be harmony if there is a collective realisation, but it's probably never going to happen. I am hopeful that it will though, because state of the world is deteriorating and needs to be corrected.

Oh I have never heard of him, overshadowed by Lula de silva and Chavez.
If you're that upset Predator - what do you intend to do about it?
Right now, there's not much I can do. I just hope to make people aware. I want to become more educated and learn all that I can. It's common sense really.
I don't think the world's that bad, to be honest. I think we like to look at the past through rose tinted glasses, but when you look at the reality (of the past and present) it's often very different.
I read this a while back and I think the guy talks sense.
The trick is to make the world around you a better place. Let me explain. I hear all the time how people need to “make a difference” and “lend a hand”, etc. The problem with this is that most people think that in order to make a difference you need to cure cancer or save a starving nation. They feel like they can’t make a difference. The key is the phrase “the world around you”. This needs to be clarified.
The world around each person is different. You don’t have to venture to unknown lands to make a difference.
Even simpler, just thank the people that serve you on a regular basis. Thank the waiter/waitress and the people at the bank. A smile isn’t that difficult.
Understand that we all have a different world that surrounds us.
Let’s be honest and say that most lower/middle class people have little shot at being Priminister. You have to have money to win. But those that choose to embrace that potential role need to take into account that their world is now vastly different than most of ours. But, and I digress, the values of those in the political machine are so vastly different than most, that I wonder if they even realize when they are doing something wrong.
I will use Woody Allen as an example. When he married his adopted daughter, everyone thought he was a sick bastard. But sometimes I wonder if Woody Allen’s morals, having been away from the normal world for so long, were so skewed that it really didn’t phase him. The same can be said with many of those in the government. How long do you have to be part of the process that everything you were taught when you were young goes out the window?
I think the biggest thing is the lack of spirituality in the world. Now this may surprise some people because I have a huge pentagram tattooed on my arm and other assorted “evil” goodies. But again, let me clarify. Spirituality can have a religious context, but it doesn’t have to. What I see around me is a lot of people who are relying on physical objects for emotional well-being and self worth. They believe that by having X car or X house that their life will be better. Look at all the credit card debt and all the commercials on TV that are trying to sell you something. They aren’t selling you a product, they are trying to make you feel guilty if don’t have the correct pair of jeans. They want to make you feel that if you don’t have something, you are worthless. The best thing I ever did was severely limit my TV watching and start going outside more. I don’t get caught up in petty gossip and try to stay away from negative people.
I used to get really mad about some of the above things, but realized that I have a family that I need to take care of and these values are something that I need to pass on. I can’t clean the world if my own house is a mess.

I admire these qualities! Very good, I enjoyed the read. Thanks STE :)
