JJ Abrams' much hyped monster movie is more annoying than thrilling. Click for our verdict, the trailer and tell us what you think.

Taken from Chris's review:

"Motion sickness does not add to your comfort either. The persistently shaky camera sways to and fro so much the upshot is more nauseating than thrilling. Skip the nachos/ hotdog combo and opt for a packet of aspirin instead."

This was def the one thing I would have said about this movie! Went to see it last nite and tbh within the first 20 minutes I was seriously thinking about getting up to leave, the constant movement of the camera made the viewing uncomfortable at best. I walked out the cinema with a sore head and feeling sick.

As for the movie itself, it was ok, nothing great, and the ending was a bit of a disappointment, the film didn't explain anything at all really, so at the end you are kinda left thinking, "ok, and...".

I assume they are going to do the answers in the sequel, but tbh if it is shot in the same way, I think I will pass!

How does it compare with the latest Bourne installment Liquid? I found it a bit much, but thrilling all the same.

mmm, trys to remember what that film was about, generally if i had to pick one of the two to go and see I would say go and see Bourne! I think this film mite be worth watching, if they make a sequel, then watch it, so at least you can watch the sequel str8 after and hopefully get some answers to your questions and some general idea what its about.

Also, watch it on a small screen, or at the least if you do go to the cinema, sit at the back!

It would be better if they actually put them in the film I paid to go and see.

I disagree, I didn't think the film was that good, it was ok, def not great. I thought there was def room for improvement.
