What weight were you there?

Was that after a bulk and then cut?

You look fab in the white calvins picture!

In the series of 4, I actually think pic 2 is the best because although pic 3 is impressive, you don't look so comfortable at that size. Perhaps that's your expression!

I agree Gubes,,,, I wasn't happy at photo 3 because i felt too large. Like i said i was doing nout but eat and lift, and had cut all my beloved cardio out. I felt so unfit!

The photo of me in my white calvins was taken in December 07, following a 12 week cut that I did using just a mixture of strict dieting (1600 cals a day) cardio and bodyweight exercise. I haven't been able to do weights for over a year now.

I estimated I was about 12% and 12stone on that final picture Richy

Currently before i go in for surgery in 5 weeks time i'm experimenting with my diet, i.e. doing a very low carb diet, and NO specific time based cardio.. Seeing what results just dieting brings, with my now daily dose of press-ups and stretches, and a bit of walking.

I think photo 3 looks awesome. I would love to look like that. The others are a bit to skinny for my liking.

Or maybe its the idea of eating 5000 cals a day lol.

trust me, if it was chocolate and stuff i was eating everyday i'd have been more than happy.. But all that pasta, porridge oats, tuna, egg whites, and whey protein powder was just too bland, especially in the quantities i was having to eat it to put weight on.. At the height of my bulk i was eating 6000calories a day..

I'm now on 1400cals and quite happy!

What happened when you came off the bulk then, because surely you would still need to eat about 5500 to maintain! Did you loose a fair bit of muscle pretty quickly!?

I am a late comer to this post but thought I would add my bit. I am one of the few lucky people who seem to be able to eat absolutely anything I want without putting much weight on and hovering between 8-10% fat.

That said I do take my training v.serious and I eat right 90% of the week. I probably eat out, chipshop, chinese, indian once a week and maybe more if there is a special occasion. I drink whenever I feel like it which is usually only the weekends. I am currently trying to bulk up and I have added around 3lbs over the past 2 & 1/2 weeks with minimal fat.

I think genetics is a huge part of it but my friends all ask me this question before heading home every weeknight to sit down with a chippy to watch Corrie on the couch whilst I am pumping iron
