As i usually take a day off on a Thursday, this gives me an ideal opportunity to post an update, i will still leave my weigh ins at every 2 weeks although i have been known to have a sneaky peek in between just to make sure i am heading in the right direction ;-)

Last weigh in was Sunday 13th @ 15 12.5 this morning i was 15 9.5 Thats a loss of 3 lbs in 11 days which i am dead chuffed with especially as that more of a loss than i had at any point through MM08. If i can maintain that rate i will hit my target of 14stone 7 lbs by the end of the challenge.

Weights again last night weights and reps were:

Dips 10 disappointed with these as i have been doing 12 regularly.
Squats 120kg x12 concentrating on better form at the moment rather than higher weight
Pull Downs 75kg x 11
Shoulder Press 35kg x 11
Supine Row 9 reps
Chest Press 67.5kg x 9
Preacher Curls 25k (plus ez bar) X 9
Finished off with some hanging leg raises

Not in an ideal order but when the kit is busy i don't have any choice.

Is been ages since i updated, and i feel like i am treading water at the moment, work is still busy but the hours should get more sensible from now on in.

I have been getting to the gym whenever i can but have not had much time to plan meals and prepare fresh food and such like, so my diet has suffered, although not to the extent of take aways and beer and i have not gained any weight so all is not lost!

As i said at the start of the post, work hours will get back to somewhere near normal if 55 hours a week is normal! so i can get back in a routine and keep on going in the right direction. I actually feel really good about myself and continue to get positive comments from people who i have not seen for a while and i have certainly lost another 1cm from my waist.

Gonna spend a bit of time having a read through everyone else's logs and see how they are fairing.

Great post WB - well done for staying on track with food despite the lack of time.

Glad the compliments are rolling in- that is always a bonus :-)

You got any good tips to other MZ'ers who work long hours on avoiding take aways and junk?

Not really, if i am honest, Mrs WB has come to accept the silly hours and the times when i come back late and would normally just reach for the phone to get a pizza she has something in the oven, even if it is something "pre prepared" (by Birdseye etc)

Slowly !

Now i am back to working "normal" hours i have a million and one jobs to do around the house and garden which include gutting and decorating my daughters bedroom so i have not been anywhere near the Gym for over a week, plus mrs WB has been ill so the diet has suffered a little bit, although not tremendously.

As i said earlier, i am treading water, if i am going backwards its only a small amount as healthy eating is now more of a habit than a chore, and i am ready to get my foot back on the gas as things return to normal then i will have some time to get back up the gym.

I have no intention of dropping out of the challenge because as long as i get to the end of the 12 weeks and i am lighter than when i started i will have achieved something, its just my updated might not be too exciting for the next couple of weeks.

As long as you keep focussing on doing your best then you'll make progress! Being busy can be a pain but I use it to help me. If I'm busy then, if I plan ahead, I can make sure the only food I eat is good.
