I hope so Will.

I did what I thought was right when a 15 year old was involved. Places like this have to self regulate to a certain extent.

Wish I hadn't bothered.

You keep on reporting where you think it's warranted. Self regulation from everyone is the key here - we don't want 'minorities' shouted down.

Surely this is a site directed towards men and welcoming of women no?

In the same way that Handbag.com are directed towards women but men are welcome to visit.

I don't think that is a bad thing.

I'm a man and I found the slutty (their words not mine) photos of a 15/ 16 year old troubling. I've nothing against the folks that posted/ commented against them. My beef is with the editor of the site who thought it OK to run shots like that. They help no one - men, women or the teenage girls who think they have to dress that way to keep up. I'm glad my child is male, let's put it that way.

Barcode, you're right in saying Mansized is directed at men and women are welcome. But both male and female members of this site have a right to report anything they like and it be acted upon. Mansized may be aimed at men, but it's the mix of people that makes it work.

What did you say then KT?

do I really have to write it all again?

No, forget it. But please don't deny you implied that this is a site for men and my opinion holds less weight.

no I do deny that wholeheartedly (sp), my point was and still is you should be more open minded as you are on a site dominated by men and therefore as a male way of thinking!

As I recall, KT said something along the lines of "This is a men's site and guys should be allowed to post what they want without fear of offending women."

Of course, some men might be offended too. I can't say because I never looked at the original thread to begin with.

Hmmmm...

Question: Is the site directed at men?

Question: If it is then is it appropriate that the consensus of the men is more important to the site?

If it were handbag.com the questions would be...

Question: Is the site directed at women?

Question: If it is then is it appropriate that the consensus of the women is more important to the site?

The answers surely must be Yes to the last two questions?

Sorry, I'm never going to think it's ok to refer to a child as a slut.

See, I have problems with that statement. So, basically, women coming on here should just agree with all the men, because this site is for men.

Thats like saying all the gay people on here should agree with the straight guys, 'cos theres more straight guys.

That would imply that I said that, which 100% wrong!

I am less happy with the way KT was treated and some of the things that were said were not nice from what I recall. So seeing this today really surprised me and left me disappointed.

Erm, how was he treated? Who said what Barcode?

I read it. I saw the content of a lot of the posts. There were statements of the type 'There are sites showing young girls that would be more appropriate for you to visit'.

If you or KT want to raise this with us feel free. I think KT's let it go though. Am I right Sir?

No as I sorted it out with him, but Barcode might not of seen that as it was just before the thread was deleted, but I thank barcode for his input and concern (sp)

On a more serious note here i merely mentioned that in law in this country you are considered a child until you are 18, in order to protect you.

i also stated that if you were that way inclinced there were specialist sites you could visit and that i hoped the police weren't watching.

none of that was aimed at anyone, KT took offence as he thought i was aiming it at him, and i pointed out to him that i wasn't aiming it at him.

all i stated were facts.

no one ripped into KT.

he still loves me, 'cos everybody loves fatboy.

I agree on all points and have not suggested otherwise, nor would I.

This site would be awful without the ladies here.
