Here is my update from the gym yesterday, which has again been let down from a night of drinking and full english this morning.

Leg press - 73kg - 9 reps
Chest press - 30 - 9 reps
Lat pull - 36kg - 10 reps
Seated Row - 43kg - 8 reps
shoulder press - 23kg - 5 reps
abs - 43kg - 6 reps
then done some bicep and tricep curls at about 30kg.

Was a good workout really concentrated on the 5/5 canance a lot more than before.

Richy - believe i am not taking anything up anywhere!

and KT - thanks! but it still isnt perfect in the flesh!

only managed to get to the gym twice this week, due to a hangover from the night before! Still, had two good workouts, been getting used to those new muscles being worked on this new regime. And have been aching loads!!

Stats were pretty much similar to tuesdays and to be honest have forgotton already!

Off to hull tomorrow to meet my dad to watch cpfc! so no doubt will have a few beers.
Other than that, diet has been fine, had a lot of pasta this week!

That sounds like a lot of beer Fatmatt. You'll always be Fatmatt if you drink lots of beer.

Well you won't lose the weight then. I go to the pub with friends occassionally and will drink iced water. If that were a problem to my friends then I know I would need better friends.

i have stopped drinking casually, and when i dont need to. so if i was just down the pub i probably wont have a drink. But seeing as im at uni and young etc, we tend to go out 2-3 times a week to a night club or something so its hard to not drink. as going out with my friends is something i enjoy doing.

its not as if my friends wouldnt understand, would just make my evenings a little more boring.

If you cant have fun unless you have a drink I think there is a problem. Not that I dont enjoy going out for a good drinking session with my mates but I do enjoy myself when im the designated driver. Its fun watching other people going from sober to plastered lol.

When I was at Uni I was the same, altho I didnt drink all the time.

Your choice though bud
