@ Shuts - I knew I could rely on you not to be impressed ! I'll get there, just you wait and see

@ Gubernatrix - I'm not sure if I would be able to hold a video cam and squat as well ;-).

I do have a plan to prove that I have reached my goals to your and his satisfaction !

I am doing proper parallel squats - just not at 140kg - yet !

I'm building up with deeper ones at lighter weights, in accordance with the boss's orders.

Bearing in mind that last summer my back was too painful to sit on a beach for long, I think I'm doing OK

My comment was directed at Shuts.

I'm confident that if anyone knows what constitutes a proper squat, it is he !

Two weeks over already.

I've been to the gym on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with a swim on the days in between. I have full body two routines, which I alternate.

I was fortunate to have had a gym session with the maestro himself Mr Shuts AKA The Boss, at the start of my DD challenge when he gave me some new things to try, corrected some dodgy form and of course set my goals.

Because of this, I have dropped the weight in a couple of exercises, or slowed them right down, to build up correctly towards my strength goals, so I am fairly confident that I am heading in the right direction towards my DD goals.

I also feel that I am working harder than before in the gym - maybe because of the above, or maybe I just feel that way.

Diet continues to be good (no chip shop on Friday!); my goal also includes shedding a little more BF, but the weight had popped up over the last couple of weeks according to the scales. I'm hoping this was 'seasonal variation' rather than a real upwards movement, so we'll find out on Wednesday.

My Wednesday weigh in this week marks nine months since I started on my weight loss and fitness challenge, so I will get some pics up for that occasion.

Not much to report - after last week's weight scare I have been very well behaved on the eating front, in order not to get too much of a kicking when I check it tomorrow.

Had an excellent gym session yesterday mid morning, and a powerful 30 minute swim today. A bit of spare time in the morning enabled me to try some new machines in readiness for incorporating them into my next routines.

Big update tomorrow with weigh in and photos to mark nine months since I started !
