Monday 28-04-08

Breakfast: Oats 50g, 200ml Milk
Snack: Wholemeal Muffin, PB 30g
Lunch: 2 rounds of Bread, ½ can Tuna, Apple
Snack: Banana
Dinner: Instant Mash (Dry Weight) 30g, Chicken 80g, Peas 50g, ½ Corn Cob
Snack: Pitta Bread, Ham, Low Fat Cheese Slice Extra Light Mayo 15g

Cals 1580 Protein 108g (27%) Carbs 192g (49%) Fat 42g (24%)

This 1600 cal lark is a piece of cake :P Seriously though, I have zero appetite at the moment, since the end of last week I’ve not really felt hungry

Weigh In 29th April 2008 (A day late!)

13st 4lbs! (186lbs) 4lbs down on last week, 6lbs in total, 35lbs since the start of MM08

I’m getting a little nervous now, 13st 2lbs is the lowest weight I’ve ever been as an adult & I looked like crap then. I do feel a little leaner & not so skinny this time round but I can’t be far off, I’m looking forward to adding some beef but still have fat to shift.

I was a little cheeky last night & curiosity got the better off me, I whipped the tape measure out & I’ve lost around 3/4 “ from around the navel, but my Abdominal skin fold is still the same (25-27 mm) which is a little concerning :(

It seems I have very little fat anywhere on my body apart from the gut & moob area, I caught a glipse of myself in the mirror last night whilst I was getting changed & my ribs are starting to show.

OK JBB - time to stop the fat loss now and go for a bit of build if you fancy that?

"Ribs" were never a good look on anyone :-)

Get you body stats/measurements to Anthony this week on his thread and get a new caloire target please????

Do you know what bf% you are ?

My brother in law has lost a lot weight lately. I dont even suspect he has been trying. He said he now just needs to tone up his belly. He showed me, can probably grab a handful or two. HE thinks wii fit will sort that out, but he thinks he doesnt need to lose any more weight. He probably doesnt his arms are like match sticks. He just believes this turning fat into muscle rubbish.

Anyway I know this is not you, just thought from one of your previous posts, he is "skinny fat".

Are you happy with the way you look, or do you want to go further?

Thanks for your concern PJ :)

I'm eager to try & build up some mass, but I think I'm carrying a little too much fat . I've read that it's best to get you abdominal measurement to around 15mm before trying to bulk, mine's still 25-27mm :(

My ribs were visible but I was stretched out & maybe the lighting effected it.

I'll get measurements & BF reading done over the weekend & run it by Anthony :) If I get time I'll stick some piccys up too

Yeah I'm skinny fat, long thin limbs, quite a small bone structure. I've still got "meat" on my arms & legs, so they're not totally skinny. I do feel a little weedy though. I can still grab plenty arround the love handle & belly area, though the last few weeks, I have noticed the love handles shrinking

Good Man :-)

I supported BFG though his sixer quest ( in Winter!! )

He was hungry, cold and difficult to keep happy at times during that :-)

Keep it healthy - have you thought about going down the Richy route of getting a specialised programme to build your "uppers?"

I sure am glad I'm not going this in the winter, poor BFG, does he have a log knocking around for when he was going for his sixer? I'd be intersted to give it a read

I'm tempted actually but I need overall mass, so I was going to give a full body routine with a calorie increase a bash & see where I got with that.

I know what you mean, I tend to end up losing more fat than I really want to from certain areas while others are more difficult to shift. It's really an individual decision how far you want to take it.

Keep training hard though. I know plenty of skinny guys (mostly climbers) who look great with their shirts off because they've got nice upper body definition. They work hard and climb all the time though. So I say, crank it up!
