Just a thought, if you managed to lose 2 stone before, can't you adopt the same principles that you did last time. Kind of 'it it ain't broke, don't fix it'?
I was going to try and give Anthony's approach a go first, using calorie cycles an gym rat etc. Over the 3-4 years since i lost that weight i've put it back on (not sure if you read that).
The thing that really worked for me was the T-Plan and one work out in particular which were supersets. I think it might be awkward in the gym i go to as it's often busy.
If i can remember correctly, it was something like...
First set = 50% max lift and then incrementing so the final lift was heaviest. It may have also been something like 12 reps 10 reps 6 reps. I think. Like i say i can't remember exaclty. All pairs of exercises were, 1 set first exercise, 1 set second exercise, back to the first exercise for one set, back to second for one, etc...
Bench Press
Seated Row
Shoulder Press
Underhand lat pulldown
Tricep exercise
Bicep Curls.
Maybe another exercise pairing too, i can't remember.
That was on a monday and friday and a similar leg session on wednesday.
Hi mate; you nheed to make you're mind up and stick to it. The workout you put on page 1 looked good assuming that was 1 set of slow cadence per exercise and not 3 sets!
Google the T-plan if you want to follow that, but Ants plans will work equally as well if not better.
The gym rate plan I believe has numerous supersets too, so maybe thats not right for you if you can never do them in a busy gym.
Hey mate saw you're q about weighing. If yopu use home scales then pick a day each week and weigh yourself first thing in the morning, after going to the toilet (and before getting dressed or having breaky) that way you'll get a truer weight and it will be a lot more consistant.
