I know what you mean about the heat - tis boiling here.

Have had to come back upstairs as my attempt to relax was going to descend in to the second row of the day with mother dearest:

She just can't see the reasoning behind me not wanting to take a job with a company that is backward, expects me to move three times in the first year, still refers to managers as Mr Wotsit and Mrs Woowoo....just not me!

No, sorry! but I did call them myself (not 999!) to find out where the law stood on tossers having bonfires for 2 days in a row so that I have to keep closing my windows and then roasting - apparently I have to call Environmental Health during office hours
