I saw an old love in town last week, she was the hottest girl ive ever seen when we were 17. I just went home and cracked one off, then forgot about her again :-)

I made a point of looking up some old friends on FB the other day. I looked up some old girlfriends and found out my taste has massively improved since I was in my teens.

I thought they were stunners and thought I remembered them as such! Oh well :)

Beads, ask yourself the time honoured question, 'would ya'.
If the answer is yes, bin the number.

I am with you SB - any wistful "what ifs" you may feel are because you didn't continue it for 25 traumatic years.

Well, I lost it anyway as it happens and I doubt he'll get in touch to be honest. I don't see how it would be much fun - it wasn't last time.

Pretty much. If he does get in touch then I'll do the friendly thing but I'm not going to rush around.

I think that is probably the best way.

Like lots of these things it's a long sad story and one which still makes me feel stupid. Where's the amusement in revisiting it?

Good point.

I was actually discussing relationship history with a friend last night, and I was telling her about my first serious girlfriend. Our relationship lasted 2 and a half years and some of her behaviour was awful - I would never stand for it now! She didn't cheat, I just mean how rude she was and what she expected from me.

Time is a healer though and we speak again now occassionally!
