yeah, it passes a couple of hours a week when i should be working.
there's not an awful lot to it; pick team and basic tactics, buy and train players, not much more.

do you have a keyboard and mouse or do you have to play with a joypad?

Joypad, it's a bit fiddly but getting used to it

I think you can buy mouse & keyboard attachments

how do you type names in the search bit? that must be a pain in the ass.

You get a big keyboard style screen pop up, just flip around it using the analogue stick, it's not too bad

You can score lots of goals from corners if you have a DC with good heading/jumping.
Aim your corners to 6 yard box, and tell your DC with good heading to challenge keeper. My Leeds DC scored 20 goals in one season doing this!

I sat down last night & spent an hour putting together some decent home & away tactics.

At home, I narrowing the width down a bit, short passing & rejigged my players to play to their stengths. Away, bit more defensive, less forward runs. I played:

Liverpool away lost 2-0 (fair enough, played well)
Man City at home 4-3 (was a right match)
West Ham at home 1-0
Bolton in the cup at home 2-2 & won on pens

Very chuffed, even Ridgewell got on the scoresheet witht the above tactic & Zarate has been a God since I moved him upfront

I'm now crap at this game :( I nearly threw the bloody thing out thhe window last night so frustrating.

Zarate has quietened down & the opposition seem to be able to pass the pass around the park with ease totally taking the piss out of my CB's

When I'm in possesion we give it away easily & no one seems to have any space to move into. I thought fair enough when Chelsea & Man U hammered me but Derby had a go last night too

Back to the drawing board

I'm gonna take my frustration out on GTA tonight
