lo gdboy

from the look of those pics I'd say perhaps to start the six pack plan first, but then it's hard to tell.

the six pack plan requires you to have less than a 20mm abdominal skinfold which from Gd's pics it appears he does not.

What do you think about the stuff I wrote regarding you're workout etc gd? Are you going to fully follow the weight loss plan?

Hi Richie, just seen your post, yeah i'm going to stick to Anthony's plan in full, i'm in the right frame of mind now and i've been good for the last couple of weeks even before i was on here, i think i just needed assurances and a little direction as you hear so many different things.

Thanks for all the advice everyone, keep it coming. (p.s. deffo more than 20mm there lol)

If I were you I would stick with every aspect of what Anthony recommends.
Short , intense workouts, good form, maximum effort 3 times a week.
Drink lots of cold water each and every day.
Monitor your calorie intake. Avoid alcohol.
If you stick to that, you WILL notice the difference in 6 weeks.
Dont doubt it, just do it :)

Well after a week I have lost 3 pounds of weight and stuck to the routine laid out by Anthony, so far so good.

Just starting my 3rd week of the plan, so far i have lost about half a stone and that's with treats at weekends so pretty happy about that.

Just have a few questions in regards to the weight exercise

I normally wait until i reach 18 reps til i change the weight i am using in any given exercise, is this too many reps? (bearing in mind 18 being the most i can lift in said session without loss of form or failure to lift)

I use 8 reps as a bottom marker so if I can't lift 8 reps of a said weight in a certain exercise I will drop the weight a little until i can hit 8 reps just about, then I do not change the weight until i am able to lift it 18 times.

Is there a better method of doing this or something i should be aiming for? cheers

So about 7lb in 3 weeks? Sounds about right on target. Are you using callipers to make sure it's fat being dropped?

I assume you are doing one set only of each exercise? 18reps sounds like a bit much, I think people like matt and richy go up to absolute max of 15 or maybe even 12.

Yeah it's deffo fat being dropped i've been measuring. As for sets, yeah i only do 1 of each, so you reckon it's to much? think i'll drop it to 12 and up the weights instead.

Cheers

My rep range is minimum 6, maximum 8.
It works for me quite well.

Same for me too. If I can't hit 6 it is too heavy. If I hit 8 then time to up the weight.
