Swap the rated and last post, remove some of the info, it is an overload (date for the last one like fatboy said maybe?) or just have a drop down, then people defo won't click it by mistake.
The fillet steak thread title has an @pj in it, but you can't see that on the latest post page for some reason?
I think the whole forum needs to be wider, but I've only got a thumbs width worth of pixels to the right of the screen anyway.
I think we ought to have an 'expand to fullscreen' version at some point. How much extra space do you have Matt?

With the rated post column i thought that was telling us who had rated it, rather than who had been rated..
Not sure what we can do about that - suggestions welcome

does the rated post need to have the date, 'cos when you click on it it takes you to the post and then all you would need is the name of the rated poster with the rating.
I think it does but planning to make the date on both last post and rated posts not bold so it's less in yer face.

Yes, think last post needs to be last - where it was before. I'll see what other info can be removed. We're doing final tweaks tonight

A bug that I've been meaning to fix for a while. We may get round to that tonight too.
This is all good stuff guys, keep your comments coming. We've also got 'Preview your post' in the bag and that'll launch tonight all being well

about 70 pixels, but the "last post" column is wider than it needs to be, and the "thread" column is a bit squashed, so that is where the extra room needs to go, make it look less cramped.
i'd prefer it if the forum resized itself to the browser size, i don't usually run it in full screen mode, and so either have to resize it to a certain amount or scroll across. Only the main section needs to be resizeable, and could have a minimum size.

Giving the thread column a bit more room is one of the jobs I wanted to do tonight. Cheers for reminding me Matt

This is a bigger job but I'll add it to my list greg. Ta
The looking up of threads has been screwed by the star system. I just went to look at the DD logs and it takes me into the middle of them as opposed to the latest information. Why would I want to be taken to something written days ago?

I don't understand. I clicked on the DD board and saw the usual - the stickied posts at the top, and the rest of them in order of most recently posted on to least recent posted.

click the middle column on the latest posts screen, that'll take you the latest post in the thread
i have to agree with greg. For me, i much prefer the location of the thread than the ratings column. Mainly because i have to be careful about what i click on at work and this would be difficult due to some misleading thread titles.
