Another psuedo-retirement, I wouldn't worry.

Lucky against Hatton? Not from what i saw.

Taking about boxing, british boxing is in a right state. We had and have far too many boring and/or paper champions.

Joe C: excellent boxer, but apart from about three fights he's never really proved himself, and he has never played a world class operator in thier prime. Whether that is down to politics or whatever doesn't matter. In ten years time when people look back at his record, they might recognise two names, just about.

Hatton: best light welterweight in the world, but even that is damning with faint praise, because the division has poor boxers. Still, an exciting boxer to watch, and he is full of heart, but as for his actual technical ability, it is good, but not world class.

David Haye: Most exciting boxer in the world, in any weight division, for my money. He is not technically the best, nor has he really faught anyone of real quality, apart from maybe Mormeck, but he is the only boxer in the world that I would pay to watch. He is always coming forward, which is a style I love, and the power he has in his fists, you just can't train for.

Hatton is good I just don't like the way he has to take so many punches to get his own in...

And no way was Mayweather lucky against Hatton, he was picking him off for the last few rounds that it went, simply a matter of time...
