I found a 1938 1st editon by the police officer who caught the murderer Crippen for £15 in a charity shop which turned out to be worth £70 to £100. I found another book of victorian childrens storys for £5 which was worth £100.

I have found vynil records in charity shops which were collectors items, one lp I paid a £1 for turned out to be a rare folk record worth £80 to £100.

I helped out in a charity shop and they had lists of stuff to look out for to sell on Ebay so they could get a better price.

I have paid £60 for a tie, although I suppose that is not a shock.

I help out in a charity shop as my brother runs it. Im a popular size and not a slave to fashion so charity shops are a boon. Many different folk donate so these shops have much more variety in my size.

I'm lucky that there are many women out there who shop for kicks then never wear stuff. These get donated, complete with original tickets, and I clean up wardrobewise :-) imagine my glee!
