So the new 3G iPhone is out in a few weeks. And considering I'm due my upgrade with O2, I've decided to plump for one to replace my aging k800i.
Anyone else looking to pick one up in July? The fact that I could do with a new MP3 player, and with the introduction of a proper headphone socket meaning I can use my Shure's, helps me make the jump.
Only £99 for the phone on my £35 a month contract, with free ultimited text bolt on seems pretty fantastic to me.
I would do but still got 12 months or so on my old contract. The biggest advantage for me would be having one address book rather than part on my phone/ part on my computer. And not having to cart two devices around of course.
I got the same offer from 02. Not sure if I can justify spending even more on the phone! Although someone I work with has offered to buy my old one of me. If they give me enough, I could get the new one for hopefully very little. Still not sure though.
I'm waiting for my )2 contract renewal in October or November, and will see what they offer me. If I can get it on my £25 contract for say, £50, I'll get it. Otherwise nope, not willing to shell out lots of money on it.
I didn't bother getting a new phone last time, but I need one now, I keep dropping it and it isn't going to last much longer :-/ Hmm, I wonder how resistant iPhones are to being dropped on the floor....
I might be quite tempted by the newer, smaller iPhone, especially as I am loving the useability of my Macbook (so easy peasy, even for me!).
Like Phoe, I am a bit oathed to shell out for a phone, and never have done so far, but phone/iPod combo is tempting too, so I might do it when my contract is up later in the year
We have a new shop open in Lancaster, and they are currently offering cash/M&S vouchers for old mobile phones. I took three in this morning: two Nokias and a Siemans and they valued them at £25 cash/£28 M&S vouchers which was good.
