To be honest I don't miss four day weekends of drinking. There's better ways to spend money and more uplifting experiences to be had. Adam's latest is charging round the bed, poking his head up the other side and laughing. I'll see if I can get it on video and post it

don't get me wrong some days you just want to hop on a plane and leave everyone and everything behind just for some peace and quiet and a break from what feels like a world of pain.

but there's something that tells me sticking is better than quitting on the ol' fam so just gotta ride the wave

Thanks God for that.... thought you lived in a world made of candyfloss for one minute!

And I agree, stick around... there MUST be a pay off at some stage =)

Will, you're a cynic - i'd watch that video. do it dude.

I feel like i've just joined that crazy Father's group who end up on the roof of various buildings and politician's houses :)

Anyway if anyone knows the answer to When does it get easier? Or is this as good as it gets (arggh) ie. taking bit of comfort in those small moments when things are going well and the little'uns make you laugh

who knows? Anyone?

God alone knows... my lad is nearly 13, at times great company and we make each other laugh and discuss things... at other times... it's war.

Just think of the potential for organs when yours go bump. My second will be my new kidney donor.

My lad's 13 months old and some days it's easier, some it's harder. There's the odd time when I feel like climbing the wall but those are few and far between now.
