It was lovely and sunny earlier but a few clouds have arrived. I hope they disappear soon as I'd like to go sunbathing in the park this afternoon.

Morning all.

It's dry and mild here in Manchester! Going to Lyme Park in Stockport today for a picnic!

The shops aren't open here on a Sunday so will probably just sit on the balcony and enjoy what sun there is.

Just about morning...yep still here.

Now the computer's working, getting on with a massive clearup of the flat and other general chores which had fallen by the wayside when I was obsesssed with trying to get it working. Also the break is over, it's back to the jobs too.

For the first time in six months I remembered to record both my radio shows so I can at least listen to those in the background whilst I'm working.

What are you listening to? I'm a great fan of the "listen again" feature on BBC radio.

Yeah, now that it's working and established after six years let's hope they don't screw it up by combining it with the iPlayer...

It's the Essential Mix with a different DJ each week which was moved to overnight on Saturday morning last November, and John Digweed's Kiss 100 show which stopped clashing with it, also at 3am but on Sunday mornings.

The problem was, I just kept forgetting the Radio 1 show, even when I was up that late to listen to it! Glastonbury must have helped me remember.

Didn't you see the thread the other day?

That's exactly what they are going to do!

Oh well, nice while it lasted...

To be fair there was the whole Realplayer vs Media Player thing which the Listen Again service had to sort out, so it's had its ups and downs through the years. In Vista it works automatically for me, in XP it's 50/50.

It's all about bit rate though, I know that Kiss's streamer has better sound quality even though it prefers that you use IE only and not Firefox. Whatever they've done it doesn't keel over whenever a browser gets a patch.
