Hopefully not by eating it :P

Nah lashed it all into the bin (and recycled where necessary of course).

Had an awesome workout last night.
My strength is returning and pull ups are no longer embarrassing effort!
All the numbmuts keep breaking machines and losing pins so I'm going to try to stick with free weights.
I asked one of the fitness instructors where the weights in the machines in kilos of lbs as it doesn't state on the machines. He didn't know :-P How brutal is that!

Another good workout this morning but I need to eat earlier. I could feel the brekkie sloshing around inside which isn't cool.
The gym in the morning is perfect. Not a sinner in the place. Bad if you end up under an Olympic bar though.

Hey Sb, know what you mean about eating earlier before a morning workout. I try to give myself an hour between food and the gym. Doesnt always work out that way either.

Gym in the mornings is always good, its dead and not full of posers standing by the equipment on their phones telling whoever on the end of the phone how good the workout is.

I get that too sometimes! I stop drinking a good 45mins before the gym too or I get the same problem. I remember someone saying you can have a decent sized bowl of oats half an hour before a workout. Well, that may work for some people but it's just a one way trip to vomit city for me!

Well, I had a terrible workout on Saturday. I went in cranky and a shoulder press machine I was on broke mid rep which is ever so slightly offputting and bloody dangerous.
Went up to 'fitness instructor' and told him his machines are shit. He shrugged and went back to his email.
Then there is something wrong with the assisted pull up, Its like the plate stalls for a second half way through the pull up and then catches up with your feet. Very distracting altogether.
Then to top it all off, I suddently realised I was starving, so I grabed my towel and water and left.
Not often I get a bad day like that but they suck.
Anyway workout yesterday was awesome, used different exercises and stayed away from machines.
The bogey is I checked my weight last night and I've put on weight. How shit is that?

Hey dude, if you're checking your weight at night, just remember there's all sorts of things in your stomach to bias the figure. All the food you've eaten so far that day, water you've drank at 2.2lbs per litre!! Plus any toilet stops you've yet to have! My weight varies massively during the day, but it consistently goes in the direction I want if I measure it at the same time every week, after a quick toilet stop as soon as I wake!

Just keep going!

Hi SB!

Sorry you had a poor training session - are you signed up "for life" to the gym or could you jump ship?

Well I had a very bad day the other day but I am ok now.

I was feeling very down because I felt like I was getting nowhere despite all the effort.
I suppose I was far more optimistic during the 07 Mr MS thing and I haven't got that same mentalitiy now. *Wonders if I can think myself thin*.
Feck it, I've a ring of lard around my stunning physique and its only a matter of time before it buggers off and I can stop wearing baggy t-shirts again.

Had a good session in the gym last night and they had fixed the shoulder press. I'm impressed. Its usually about 4 months before something gets fixed.

Ha! Same at my place, the leg extension's been buggered for a week & don't even think it's been looked at yet, just has an Out of Order sign slapped on it. Nice cheap though so mustn't grumble

Weird! It's exactly the same with the leg extension in my gym!
