Weight this morning came in at 91.4kg, so a loss of 0.8kg or just under 1.8Lbs. Was hoping for a little more, maybe even 0.2 kg more so I could have a final push this week to get under the 90kg barrier. Big difference this week on my scales was my water % It has always been at about 51-53% when I weigh myself. Today it was at 59% so im hoping there is a little bit of water retention there.
I have been, throughout the challenge, drinking 5litres plus of water per day. Due to this water bug in Northampton im lucky if I can chug down half that as boiling the kettle and trying to make sure I have enough for the day is tedious. Going to go and by 6 2litre bottles of water today to try and get my water intake back up to what im happy with. If I do have a little water retention and manage to sort it, im sure it will show in my final weigh in of the challenge next week.
Im really going to push hard this week as I want to be under 90kg, even 89.9 recurring would be good (lol) To do that im dropping my calories to 1600 perday for the final week and trying hard to make sure im getting enough water.
Right off to the gym now as im bored and fancy a workout, going to do legs as its my favourite :-)
Not sure if its because its monday and im mentally preparing from work etc but I struggled quite a bit during my workout this morning. 1600 calories is going to be tough this week too and I have a feeling that also make my workouts a lot tougher too.
Squat 115kg x12 115kg x12 115kg x12 (hard work and the bar beginning to hurt my neck and shoulders)
Vertical leg Press 255kg x12 255kg x10 255kg x16 (felt good on last set so kept going till I couldnt any more)
Leg Curl 98kg x12 98kg x12 98kg x12 (burn on this one lol)
Leg Extension 124kg x12 124kg x12 124kg x10 (felt my right knee twinge on this on so need to be careful of this one)
Calf Raise 124kg x20 124kg x25 124kg x30 (kept going till failure on each one)
Lunges 17.5kg dumbells in each hand and 3 sets of 8, felt more like a circuit training exercise.
Had a very good workout tuesday and enjoyed my rest day yesterday. So much so infact I didnt go to the gym this morning. I have made arrangements to go tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday so will get all my workouts in then.
Water intake has been better and ive been drinking about 5 bottles of 1.5 litres every day, feel much better for it too :-)
I have to say I couldnt resist weighing myself this morning after my lack of water intake last week. Never weighed myself ealry before; that I can recall anyway; so wasnt sure what to expect. weight currently 90.1kg :-0 Water % also dropped from 59% back down to 55%. Normally it is around 51-53% with me drinking water regularly so im really hoping to for a final push over the next couple of days and a result of under 90kg will be great.
Diet wise I have been sticking to around 1600 calories this week and it is pretty hard, feel hungry towards the end of the evening but I have a couple of spoonfuls of cottage cheese before bed and im ok till the morning. Puts calories at about 1665 calories to be exact :-)
You are a trooper dude! Your final pics should be awesome, are you any nearer fitting into those trousers?
Cheers buddy, im not sure the pics will look that great tbh as all I can see when I look in the mirror is the spare tyre around my waist. At the beginning I guess it was worse than that lol.
Right, did another workout today on my legs. Felt fresh after the last 2 days off.

Loved it today, felt great and strong. Upper body tomorrow and I havent done it since monday so hoping I feel good. Working legs Sunday too before pics as I think they have progressed the most. I kinda have a tear drop type effect on my quads lol.
