I don't get all this "oh my god someone got £1000 phone bill after using phone endlessly whilst abroad"

Yes the roaming charges or whatever they are called are too high, but don't these people ever read their tariff details?

Good point Nicola. What kind of idiot would download a tv show abroad with their mobile? Even if you didn't know the exact cost, you should still know that it's not gonna be cheap.

What did he win, apart from a dose of commonsense? Prison Break's a Sky show now, he could have used Sky Plus and had it waiting for when he got back, no show is that important that you'd (well I'd) pay at least six times the cost of a DVD box set, to see one episode.

He works in IT, so no sympathy whatsoever.
