To all those who are committed to the gym and at least attempting to eat right, and happen to be attached -
Does your partner "get" why you do what you do? Whether it's going regularly to the gym, wanting to be fit and/ or any body changing goals?
Seems the girl I have found myself dating is a cardio numpty, doesn't like lots of muscle at all (while I do) and thinks I'm sad that I'm so geeky bout it all.
She's a cool chick so it won't really affect what I do, but if you made yourself less attractive with your partner by adding more muscle or getting leaner - would it make you stop?

She's not alone in the cardio thing. That's what 'most' women are told is needed to keep in shape.
I think if you improve your physique she'd be unlikely to complain! Unless you went silly body builder-esqe.
well see me too! how she is putting up with it I have no idea. But then you have to consider them, and the last thing you'd want to do is make yourself unattractive to your partner!
And the cardio thing drives me mad, but when it's one guy against a million and one trash mags its hard to convice...
I guess when im back in a meaningful relationship (if I ever do) then at 1st attraction is very important but as time goes on things change i.e looks, appearance, personality, etc etc. For women a big one is childbirth, Bodies are going to change for the good and the bad. If I was in a relationship I would hope my other half would support me in whatever I did if I truely thought it was what I wanted and vice versa for me to her.
What I don't get is the guys - and there are so many of them - who go to the gym straight from work, and stay until about 8pm, or later and only then head home. They are a slave to work, the gym but when do they spend time with their other halves (aka 'me burd')?
