What do you think?

We complain it's too hot, too cold, too wet, too humid, too windy. No type of weather is free from our complaining.

We complain about taxes and then complain about the NHS.

We complain we are hungry if we haven't eaten for several hours and then complain once we have eaten that we are too full.

I do think in general the UK is full of pessimists. I wonder why...

Probably - taxes and NHS I can understand

Weather - sometimes I can understand; however, food I do not understand

We had a work night out on Friday and someone was complaining that there was too much food in the main course, yet everyone got the same amount. There is too much food, fair enough; no need to go crazy about it.

Why do we complain about the NHS?

We can have free treatment for any illnesses known to mankind, for free. My immediate family has had all of their tax contributions to the NHS and more in the last five or six years.

Big up to the NHS from me !

what a silly person. If there is too much, don't eat it all.. how can you complain that a meal had more than enough food to satisfy your hunger, that is like complaining that work paid you too much.

I think the NHS is good.
I got referred for an operation the other day, had a message on my home phone telling me my initial appointment was in a couple of weeks! Rang back the same night and re-arranged it for the day after I return from my hols. I think thats very efficient, although I dont now how long the waiting list is.

Aye.

I do think people do complain too much. It annoys me too that most of them are idiots who complain over nothing or something they have very little knowledge about.
