That youtube video earlier from Kings of Shave had a part where the guy was shaving "against the grain" especially in the neck area -- I can't do that otherwise it gives me a bad rash!

IMO, the KoS stuff is overrated (the oil thing does nothing to my stubble). It was like trying to shave using a butter knife.

How odd. I swear by KoS anti-bacterial K series shave gel. Super smooth glide, and keeps you rash and spot free.

Did he say he was shaving against the grain? Everyone's hair grows in different directions on their neck/chins area. Mine goes down, then across and then up, so I have to adjust the angle to suit each bit.

Any gel works well including Gillette Mach3, and even the Original Source's mint shaving gel. It's the KoS's oil like this which did nothing to make it easier to shave.

Sorry I thought that's what he said and the video proved it (no subtitles!). :o)

How do you shave in the shower ? I couldn't shave without a mirror, because I have to have neat, and evenly lenghthed sideys, so need a mirror to get the balance right!

I take in a little mirror, then I check my burners properly once I get out & trim them
