Frankly if he ever wants a hope in hell of getting back in there, he'd need to return to being independent. I voted for Ken last time but Boris has got four years to prove himself and be a real alternative. At least at the next round of elections there will be two track records to properly judge.
Ken has no chance, even as an indie. The LimDem's need a proper candidate, while Labour need a new face, not someone who is involved with the party at-the-moment.
