I'm in a simialar boat, I just mentioned on the drinking thread & a couple of times on here before but my freinds can't understand why I don't want to be drinking 10 pints every week. On Saturday night & earlier on in the day I was badgered for hours about it, where at one point I thought bollox, I can't even be arsed going out at all now. It wasn't even like I was the only one not drinking

I know exactly what you mean. Most of mates are used to me not drinking now but a few of them look at me like i'm some sort of alien when i say i'm not drinking. Fuck off you ignorant cooooonts

I struggle to understand why it bothers them so much, I've not been a full time drinker now for years & they still go on about it
