I own a Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner. It was given to me about ten years ago by my brother. It's really special - does need a service though so I hope he's not reading this!
This watch is the one that I wear every day, but I had it taken to a jeweller's when the battery was replaced and put proper leather straps on it. It's nice, except for I've been clumsy and marked the face, but what the hell, it's only a fiver to get a replacement.
However I was fixed on getting an affordable watch made up of Roman Numerals on the face, I'll edit in with the link to the one I found later on, if the first link works.
[EDIT] If the link doesn't work then enter 2511195 in the search box and that will bring up the image.
i spend my life buying watches (to the pleasure of mr Amex), i got an omega planet ocean wit hthe orange leather strap, bell and ross limited edition phamtom, tag heure f1 chrono, and am currently paying off the recession busting rolex sub 50th anniversay edition. i'm already considering my next purchase...prob a Graham diver or tag monaco.
A cheap timex. Anything that displays the time is sufficient enough for me. I can't see why people would spend the amount the would on a cheap car on a watch.
Cheers for all the suggestions guys. I'm also wondering whether I need one - I used to have one but it broke and I started using my mobile if I really needed a timecheck. I'll have a scout around and see if anything takes my fancy
