Nope! Tend to go by sight.
However, I am down a notch on my belt (back to where I was when I had my 6 pack) so I must be moving the right way.

It won't take you v long to take a few measurements a month. Sight can be subjective.

Not sure what I have done (if it is weight, football or sleeping awkwardly) but my neck/upper back is really sore and uncomfortable. Trying to figure out some way of training while it is sore. So far I have come up with nothing which is probably the best plan.

It is my trap that I have strained. Which is a pest. Got some drugs to try and fix it. Looks like a lay out from the gym. It is also a pain as my football season starts on Sunday. Hopefully have it cleared up by then.

I'll do my best. I am off to see a comedian (Mark Watson) at the festival on Friday and will attempt not to drink. However, next week I have a works do (thurs), leaving drinks (fri) and a bday & a pal up on Sat. Oh dear. Having a life really gets in the way of the gym.

You mean pills to control the pain?
Find a good sports masseur who could fix it in one session.

Anti-spasmodic pills and pain killers (won't take the latter, never do).
