Must be the season changes Noffles, I also had trouble sleeping last night, but had no problems waking up courtesy of the burglar alarm that went off around 6am, then my second wakeup call from the mechanical digger at the front of the flat at 9 or so! Mad!
Still, shaving the beard seems to have done the trick, but I'll have a cuppa before heading out to brave the jobcentre when buying the Guardian.

I know you'll appreciate my pain 99, but the kettle died last night (as well as tripping the circuit breaker - twice). God it's annoying reseting all the alarm clocks and the like, but not as bad as losing such an essentail piece of kitchen equipment :-(
Yep Loki I can sympathise, I had a couple of PC crashes because of old kettles overloading the electrics, but in my case it was self-inflicted, didn't realise the electric kind have had the wattage printed on the underside label for at least the past ten years, I could have just turned all three of them upside down and seen how much juice they were using!!
But now's your chance to head down to your nearest market and pick up the stove variety for less than a tenner like I did. Your electric bills will thank you for it, my kettles were using 500W more than my electric oven when boiling water. Now I'll just wait the extra minute or so for the gas...
I have a report to write for boss by friday, and desperately need to make new material for collaborators ASAP but am at home with some kind of virus I think, entire body feels utterly exhausted :(
