I've seen a lot of Robinho for Real over the past few years and I must say, what a great signing. He's quick, skillfull and is a great finisher. I'm sure he will be a top player for city this year. They now have a very strong midfield:-
Petrov
Johnson
Elano
Wright Phillips
Forwards
Jo
Robinho
That is a very good group of players, if they can get the winning mentality then they will be fine. I can see them finishing at least 5th this year, Hughes is a good manager and he will get the best out of the players. They do need to strengthen in January though if they want to improve further, I think they need to replace Dunne and they need a fullback and a tough midfielder. Should be interesting to see who else they bring in.
I still think Chelsea will win the Prem this year. I think Berbo will be good for United but I think the lack of a quality mid partner to Scholes and a poor dip in form from Rooney, they will struggle to keep up with the Chelsea machine.
I wonder what exactly he is delighted at? (150k a week aside). Is it the prospect of playing in the inter toto cup? Playing away at the likes of Hull and West Brom in the middle of winter? I hope he and City crash and burn big time.

lol
It must be the money that he likes the most. Let us be honest he chose the UEFA cup over the Champions League he must be mad. I reckon by about December time when he freezes his bollocks off in Manchester he will be quicker on a plane to Brazil than you can say "feck off home."
He wants to play almost every week and not be a bench-warmer like in Madrid; Man City have offered him this option albeit with silly money. If the Arabs invest more money than Roman on players, like they are suggesting, City should be challenging the big-four next season.
Well that settles it I bet none of the Manchester City players or staff can speak Arabic.
Just how do you tell a player like Berbatov in Arabic that if he joined Shitty city he would be playing in the losers' UEFA cup?
You've got to feel sorry for Wright-Phillips - he's left Chelsea to go to a team where he can get some regular first team action and now the club he's joined has been bought out by someone obscenely rich who'll probably buy a replacement for him in the January transfer window!

Do you think it'll be that soon? I think they'll have some trouble attracting the really big names to begin with. Manchester's not an attractive prospect as somewhere to live and City don't have Champs League football.
I think they can challenge, but not for a couple of years. I'll be happy if I'm proven wrong though!
