Undoubtedly a brilliant car, but am I alone in thinking it has more than a whiff of Ford about it? It just looks cheap alongside the competition; there is no hiding it's heritage.
As for the chrome, the finish is all wrong - too shiny, too plastic looking; it's all a little too, erm, chigwell.
Everytime I look at one, I can't help thinking, stick a blue oval badge on it and we could be looking at a 21st century Scorpio.
I'm not a fan of it either, I don't get the big hype about it. Don't think it looks very good and having seen one in the flesh, it feels like a fancy mondeo more than an out and out Jag.
the jag design doesn;'t seem to evolved a whole lot. they seem to be still trying to ride on the sucess of their old cars.
Eh? The XF is a giant leap forward in terms of Jag design of the last two decades.
I initially didn't like the XF, but think it can look good on big wheels, and in dark colours (navy, black, dark grey). But, it is still very Mondeo/Lexus/Aston like, and think the headlights are just wrong.
it looks like a 90's American car Chrylar (sp?!!) maybe with that grill. In right spec it looks ok, but otherwise nah...then again Jags seem to age well so give it a year or to and i might say it looks good

You can talk, defecting from a MINI to a Prius! Pfffttttt.....

Please say this isn't true? I'm no big fan of Minis, but a Prius?
